| Description: | By Walther's own account, he transcribed a huge number of concertos (possibly as many as 78!) for organ, of which, regrettably, only 14 have survived to the present day.
This concerto is a transcription of Concerto No. 4, originally in G Major, from "Sinfonie e concerti a cinque, opera seconda" (1700), and consists of an opening Allegro, a brief 9-bar Adagio, and a concluding gigue-like Allegro in 12/8. |
