Transcription of an unknown concerto by Joseph Meck (1690-1758)
A short 7-bar Adagio introduction leads to an extended Allegro movement featuring three significant "solo" sections on a secondary manual between ritornello sections played on the primary manual.
An Adagio of 36 bars follows a similar format with two significant solo sections.
The work concludes with a rousing Allegro, mostly manuals only but the pedals make an appearance during the central ritornello section as well as in the closing cadence of the work.
