Transcription of a Double Concerto for Oboe and Violin by Georg Philipp Telemann. A copy of the original version of the concerto exists in a collection in Lund, Sweden, bearing attribution to Vivaldi. However, stylistic reasons speak definitively against Vivaldi as author and firmly in favor of Telemann, so Walther's attribution of the concerto as being by Telemann can be considered valid.
The opening Adagio movement features large block chords separated by short duos (presumably for the solo oboe and violin). This leads directly into an allegro movement with some rather tricky passagework in places.
A short 15-bar Adagio movement comes next ending on a Phrygian half-cadence, setting the stage for the final Allegro, a bold and strident movement in 6/8 time
