Husumer Orgelbuch: 14. Concerto in A

Christoph Wolfgang Druckenmüller has already made several appearances in the Husumer Orgelbuch. This is his final contribution - a Concerto in A Major. In 3 movements, the concerto opens with an Allegro movement. The second movement is a charming Siciliana. The closing Vivace movement features majestic tutti ritornellos alternating with rapid solo passages. In my opinion, one of the finest works in the entire book, it's a shame we have so few surviving compositions by Druckenmüller.
