Composer: Buxtehude, Dieterich
Sample Producer: OrganArt Media
Sample Set: 1687 Arp Schnitger, Steinkirchen, Germany
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Baroque
Description:
Buxtehude expressed the joyful occasion that is the subject of this choral with a soprano voice that richly adorns the choral melody. The soprano voice frequently reaches an octave above or below the actual choral melody. The most expresswive example of this is in the last two bars where he concluding flourish leads the right hand from the g in the C5-octave to the g two octaves lower.

The sound recording here uses the Trumpet as solo voice. The video uses a more traditional registration with the nassard
