Fantasie over het Lutherlied 'Een vaste burg is onze God'

Exactly 500 years ago Martin Luther nailed a list of 95 theses on the door of the Catholic Church in Wittenberg, so today it's the 500th anniversay of Reformation.

On Reformation Day 1917 Jan Zwart published his Fantasy on "A mighty fortress is our God", which has become a popular piece among many organists in The Netherlands.

I recorded this composition on the soon to be released Sonus Paradisi sample set of the beautiful Hints (or Hinsz) organ of the Dorpskerk in Midwolda (a village in the northern part of The Netherlands).
