John Bull (1562 or 1563 – 12 March 1628) was an English composer and organ builder. He was a renowned keyboard performer of the virginalist and organ school and most of his compositions were written for theseinstruments. Bull was been one of the most genial and modern composers of the ancient music.
The short virtuosic "Praeludium" (almost a modern Piano etude) is taken from the "Fitzwilliam Virginal Book" (1562/1612).
