O Little One Sweet

We sang this lovely tune in our Advent Carol concert sunday 10th and as ever I was stricken by the sheer beauty of the melody by Scheidt (?) and the brilliant setting of it by Bach.

The church was packed, people standing outside in the hallway near the entrance and in the church against the walls because there was not enough room in the building, that easily sits 400.

No shuffling, coughing etc. by the audience during the performance of this chorale.

So much for my firm determination not to upload any advent pieces this year.
