There must be a hundred much more impressive versions of this nice christmas song in the concert hall, but for my first upload after one year of thankful listening I wanted to choose a piece I could rather manage without too many errors, just to see, if I could do it.
So here it is: a prelude by the german composer Thomas Riegler (b. 16.05.1965) out of his edition "Originelle Choralvorspiele". There are so far two other pieces by him in the hall, uploaded by Bartfloete, I guess he would have played this one much better ;-)
I chose the Wangerin sample set by Jonathan Orwig (giwro) for this recording. Besides it's tuba rank it has also nice soft reeds for the cantus, but listen yourself...
Merry christmas to all busy members of contrebombarde!
