I hope you enjoy my Meditation on the hymn tune THAXTED. Composed 2 years ago, I'm just now getting around to recording it. This is a gentle piece with an almost pastorale-like accompaniment. The melody is book-ended with chordal passages on the SW strings which appears twice, finally culminating in a declarative statement in the PD, supported by the 32' Bourdon.

Recorded on the Rosales, please note I've added a bit of reverb in post since I don't load the rear channels.
