Description:
Hope everyone had some happy holidays and a peaceful beginning of the new year! As I kept being busy and vacation is just about to come up, I'm finally able to catch up a bit on listening and uploading on CCH. Hope you don't mind some Christmas improvisations, even if it's January already... ;-)

This one has been edited from my 2017 Christmas concert postlude, where its devout peacefulness surrounded a more powerful retrospective on the Czech/German carol "Come, Ye Shepherds". As I thought the quieter parts would make a great piece on its own, I decided to cut out the louder middle part in order to not "disturb" the intimate atmosphere just introduced by the first bugle section.

For those who own a 7.1 surround system, an 8-channel FLAC file can be picked up here to get an impression of what it will sound like in my living room:

- Player: Current versions of Media Player Classic are able to properly play multi-channel FLAC files.
