Manuscript Mus Ms 30376 (Staatsbibliothek Berlin) contains 4 chorale prelude that were certainly written by Sorge and 2 that were probably/possibly written by Sorge. Combined with the Sorge preludes from the Neumeister Sammlung, and the preludes from Go. S. 597 (Sachsische Landes- und Universitätsbibliothek Dresden) I'm building a nice collection Sorge's choral prelude. The preludes from Mus Ms 30376 fit into the liturgical calendar a few weeks from now, so I switch from Go S 579 to this manuscript (and the Sorge preludes from the Neumeister Sammlung), in the hope they are of use to someone in the coming weeks. This prelude to "Komm heiliger Geist, Herre Gott" follows Sorge's familiar model of a fast paced right hand with the choral melody in the left hand. All in all a very nice piece.
To circumvent the problem of a broken leg, I recorded first the pedal part with the left hand and the right hand part. After that I played the resulting midi and plyaed the choral melody. So the recording is not really live, nevertheless all parts were played live
