Ernest Grosjean (1844 - 1936) published "Pièces pour orgue ou harmonium", a set of 56 pieces in two volumes, in 1902. The first volume contains 33 easy pieces, that can be played without the use of pedals. This piece has no other title than "* * *". Perhaps I could have substituted a title like "Interlude" or something, but I chose to follow the original edition. In the performance I add a little bassnote here and there, in line with the harmony and the overall mood of the piece.
I play the repeat from the beginning instead of from the 'da segno'. Not a conscious decision, I just forgot the 'da segno'...
