The source for most of the Kauffmann pieces is the original edition of 1733 of the "Harmonische Seelenlust". Some of the pieces can also be found in the manuscripts of Johann Gottfried Walther. The prelude to "Jesus Christus, unser Heiland" is one of those. I published the Walther version in 2015 (http://partitura.org/index.php/georg-friedrich-kaufmann-jesus-christus-unser-heiland/). Comparing the two sources there are a number of little differences. Not enough to call it a different piece, but enough to give someone who wants to edit a 'definitive' version some headaches. It's a pleasant piece in both versions.
I probably have to check the Kauffmann pieces I already transcribed from a Walther manuscript. Well, that'll be a nice job for the months after the summer holidays...
