Description: | Manuscript Becker III.8.43. owned by the Sachsische Landes- und Universitatsbibliothek contains 4 fugues by Johann Ludwig Krebs. I already published three of them, so it is time for the last one. For a fugue it is a strange piece. After the exposition there follows an interludium that is totally unrelated to the fugue theme and does not return in the rest of the piece. After this interludium the fugue theme reappears four times, three of which in the pedals. Despite this, it is a very nice piece to play.
The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Voxus, of the Müller organ in the Sint Bavokerk, Haarlem ( http://www.voxusorgans.com/en/product/haarlem).
