Sigfrid Karg-Elert (born Oberndorf am Neckar, 21 Nov 1877; died Leipzig, 9 April 1933)
In 1910 Karg-Elert married Luise Kretzschmar (1890-1971); four years later their daughter Katharina was born.

This is the fouth one, Aria simplice, Andantini con moto.

The set is dedicated to my dear daughter Kitty (Katharina).

The eight are to be played without a break but I won't be playing them all.
