Description: | This recording of Suite II by Nic. Clerambault was done by request, as a comparison to the latest French organ by SP.
Registrations set by hand with mouse before each piece (I beg your patience)
Plein Jeu: pricipals, mixtures of both manuals, coupled, plus 16' bourdon for grandeur
Duo: GO: Cornet, Positif: Cromorne
Trio: Positif: Flutes 8, 8, GO: Voix Humaine, tremblant doux
Basse de Cromorne: since you heard the Cromorne already, I made it a basse de trompette; and soft part Positif: Montre 4, Bd. 8
Flutes: Strats out with FLte 8+4 of GR.Org., and later Bd. 8, Flute allemande 8 positif
Alternating
Recit de Nasard: GrOrg: Bd 8, Positf: two 8' fluets and Nasard
Caprice sur les Grand jeux:
Gr. org. coupled to Pos.: basically almost all stops, pricpals, no mixtures of course, Trompette8, 4, Cromorne, plus tierces and nasards and Cornet extra.
Sorry, my playing here and there went a little too fast (esp. the final one) and I faltered, but this has been done as a comparison mainly, to compare the difference in sound between these two very authentic organs.
I think you will enjoy both organs. I do have St. Maximin de Baume as well, but that organ is perhaps a bit too much for a delicate piece like this. |
