Italian pianist, organist, and composer Francesco Gabellieri (b. 1981) was educated at the “Luigi Cherubini” conservatory in Florence where he earned diplomas in piano, instrumental pedagogy, and choral composition and conducting. His principal piano teachers were Laura de Fusco, Franco Scala, and Stefano Fiuzzi. Gabellieri also earned a diploma in historical piano performance (fortepiano and romantic-era piano) from the piano academy in Imola. He has served as the organist and choirmaster of the cathedral basilica in Volterra (Tuscany). As a composer, he has produced many compositions and editions of older music for Edizioni Carrara (Bergamo).
