Genre: Early 20th century
Description:
Saturnin Paraire (8 February 1883 — 1937) was born in Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales), and may have been French/Catalan.

He was "Professeur au Conservatoire et organiste de St-Mathieu à Perpignan."

"Pensée religieuse" (Religious Thought) was published in 1922, and found in "Honderd Gemakkelijke Stukken voor orgel of harmonium".

It is an expressive work, and packs quite a small-scale "romantic punch."

The score is attached below, as well as two photos of the church of St-Mathieu à Perpignan, where Paraire was organist.
