From Album for the Young (Album für die Jugend), Op. 68: "Fröhlicher Landmann, von der Arbeit zurückkehrend" (Merry/Happy Farmer, returning from work).

The whole album was composed by Schumann for his three daughters in 1848.

I was scrolling through an old piano book today as I wanted to play Air by Bach. When finished I flipped through the book as I've never really looked at it and came across this charming piece near the end.

Played with 8' + 2' stops of both manuals coupled.

Hope you enjoy this short and fun piece.
