Description: | Erik-Jan van der Hel (*1967) studied organ with L.P.A. Pors, Peter van Dijk, Jacques van Oortmerssen (Sweelinck Conservatorium Amsterdam) and Maurice Pirenne (Conservatorium Utrecht). He also studied churchmusic and, for a few years, harpsichord with Anneke Uittenbosch. Further study with Stef Tuinstra.
Prizes: Albert Schweitzer Festival Deventer (1987), Schweizer Orgelwettbewerb Graubünden (1992) and the Paul Hofhaimer Wettbewerb Innsbruck (1995).
He is organist at the Immanuelkerk in Ermelo (organ build by Reil, 1981, after Hinsz, 1764/1765), he plays concerts, teaches and composes.
This rather nice composition is dedicated to German organist Scheufele-Leidig.
Played on a simple registration of this beautiful organ
