I comfort myself with Jesus great suffering, is the message of this beloved Lenten-hymn. A message fitting in this time of Lenten ánd suffering. The last sentence of each couplet is: ‘O Jesu, zie mij aan’. O Jesus, look at me! Or more: have mercy upon me. The text is attributed to Johannes Brugman. I couldn’t find any English translation. As you know an English version, please leave a message. I hope you will enjoy! Have a good quarantaine-time!
