Geog was father of Carl Armbrust who composed Orgelsonate d-moll "Nun danket alle Gott" recently uploaded by hauptwerker.

Not many details to hand about Georg but he was the organist of the St. Petri-Kirche in Hamburg and accompanied Brahm's Frauenchor.
