This is a fresh live recording with some amendments to the score. I attach the PDF of my score below and have deleted the previous recording.
Since my first upload I have changed the registration and simplified the pedal line so I can cope with it more easily.
This is my arrangement for organ of the song by Reynaldo Hahn (1874 - 1947). It is a setting of text by the 17th Century poet, Théophile de Viau.
Hahn was a "child prodigy" on the piano and wrote many works including operettas, orchestral, chamber music and piano solo. However, he is best known as a composer of songs (see Wikipedia)
I heard this played by the Scott Brothers in their Monday Lunchtime concert (performed on Piano and Harmonium). Do check out their many performances on YouTube.
