Composer: Buxtehude, Dieterich
Sample Producer: Piotr Grabowski
Sample Set: Erfurt, Büßleben, St. Petri Kirche
Software: GrandOrgue
Genre: Baroque
Description:
The Toccata in d minor, BuxWV 155 is one of the best (organ) pieces by Herr Dietrich Buxtehude. It paves the way for later organ pieces in this genre, for example the famous BWV 565 by Herr Bach. Buxtehude divides thies piece in smaller passages with different characters. This is a true marvel of the Stylus Phantasticus, so I took some freedom....

There are many changes of registration, so it's too much to share the complete registrations. Somewhere in the middle you'll hear a beautiful passage in which I use the Gedact 8' and the Traversa 8' of the Brustwerk, a nice combination.

Settings:
Front 50%
Rear 100%
Pitch: 465', Werckmeister III

This organ is one of the latest sample sets by Piotr Grabowski. I recommend it wholeheartedly. It's a versatile instrument with beautiful sounds.
