Description: | Louis Vierne (1870 – 1937) is best known as a composer and organist at Notre Dame in Paris, France. Vierne made phonograph recordings of six works of Bach, three of his own compositions and three improvisations. Maurice Duruflé transcribed the improvisations and we here one in this video.
Meanwhile - here is the Maestro (Vierne) himself in the original recording, recorded in 1929: https://youtu.be/Z3Hhy1AAWls
