The second upload in the Hanff-series. Several users before me have recorded his complete works, be sure to check them out. It's always nice to compare!
This fine piece is a true example of the Northern-German baroque style. Compare this piece for instance with the setting of Georg Böhm of the same chorale or Buxtehude's setting of 'Erhalt uns, Herr' and you will definitely hear the similarities (already in the first bars).
I use the Vox Humana 8' as solo stop. A very subtile and soft reed stop on this Stertzing-organ.
