Praeludium und Fuge C-Dur BWV 547 Uploaded by: phjo Composer: Bach, J. S. Organ: G. Silbermann Stadtkirche Zöblitz, 1742 Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 372
Again one of 'de acht kleintjes', as we call it in Holland. Obligatory lesson material for many organ students. Nevertheless, these pieces cannot be underestimated as 'pure lesson material'.
The prelude is a slow movement which reminds me of a Pavan, played by for example an old Gamben Consort. There is no Viola da Gamba or something similar on this Stertzing organ, but the Gedact 8' from the Brustwerk sounds really intimate, so that will do the trick (I hope).
