La Vergine degli Angeli (with Solo, Choir & Instruments)

This is a four-part mixed choir transcription of "La vergine degli Angeli", the religious hymn that closes the finale of Act II of Giuseppe Verdi's La Forza del Destino, set in the church of the Madonna degli Angeli near Hornachuelos.

Choristers and musicians studied and recorded their parts at home during the 2020 lockdown in Italy, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It wants to be a sign of hope, both for what the piece of music expresses, and for all choirs and orchestras to soon start making music together!
