Five Chorale Preludes Uploaded by: HMaier Composer: Walther, Johann Gottfried Organ: 1761/2005 J. A. Silbermann-Metzler, Arlesheim, Switzerland Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 1078
This piece appears as strikingly simple arrangement by Bach. But this simplicity is combined with perfect harmony. The Unda Maris in the solo division - one of the most beautiful register stops of the instrument - mystically carries the cantus firmus of the chorale.
I got inspired by Juan de la Rubia's recording at the Metzler organ in the Poblet monastery. Here, I decided to apply a slightly faster pace, following a slow heart beat rhythm.
Best listened with a good sub to appreciate the 32' Double Diapason.
This is my first HW video and I hope you like it.
