Symphonie Gothique - III - Allegro

Our medieval adventure continues with this very lively fugue. As if a complex fugue is not enough, another theme is overlaid: in the bass towards the end you will here the Gregorian Christmas Introit 'Puer Natus Est Nobis', of which we will hear a lot more in the next movement. It has taken longer than usual to get this to a reasonable recording quality, I have found it a very difficult piece to get through without some major glitch.
