A baroque composition again in the style of Bach, especially the hymn section.
The prelude is in 3 parts. The melody of the hymn is in the middle voice in a soft sounding motive in 3/4 time. This is followed by an allabreve in which the three voices ascend cadenced under a calm pedal, one voice repeatedly carrying the melody of the hymn.
Then follows the full organ with a toccata-like playing, mostly under an organ point in the pedal, in between a part of the hymn melody is heard again and again in the left hand.
Unfortunately I had to transpose e4 and f4 down in the pedal solo, because the Skrzatusz organ in the pedal is unfortunately only equipped to d4.
After the theme has been presented by all four voices, the fugue takes up the allabreve from the prelude again and ends brilliantly with the hymn theme in the pedal with full organ.
The hymn, also performed with full organ, concludes the piece.
