Polibio Fumagalli (1830 - 1900) was an Italian composer, organist and pianist.
Polibio Fumagalli's first teacher was the organist Gaetano Medaglia at Inzago. Fumagalli hold diploma for flute and composition at the Milano conservatorium. He got the position as organist and director of music at Vimercate. Later he got the same positions at the church San Celso at Milano. In 1873 he became teacher for organ at the Milano conservatorium.
The six marches for organ op. 80 are spectacular and unic. They are important examples for the Italian romantic organ music in the style of elegant opera- and symphonic-orchestra compositions, and also a litlle bit "Donnerwetter"-pieces.
