| Description: | Johann Caspar Ferdinand Fischer (1656-1746) was a German baroque composer, in his time quite known for his keyboard compositions. Unfortunately, many of his works are lost. But luckily there are some works left, of which many were published before on Contrebombarde.
For this chaconne I've used a base of 8' foots of the Hauptwerk of the Köck-organ in Obervellach: Prinzipal 8', Coppel 8', Salizet 8'. It gives a rich, deep sound. Because of the overwhelming acoustics of the church, I've added no rear, only front with a bit of 'close'. Just to hear the details combined with nice acoustics.
The sheet music is added in the attachments. |
