Description: | Here again is a far-reaching work from my op.2 - Prelude, Fugue and Chorale on "Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern".
The prelude is in the style of a French overture in the form A-B-A-B-A, whereby A makes the chorale melody sound with sharply dotted accompanying voices with full organ, and B already anticipates the dense polyphonic playing of the fugue with the positive.
After the performance of all voices, the four-voice fugue quickly leads into a very dense polyphonic play, which, like a perpetuum mobile, runs seemingly boundlessly before the full organ picks up the main theme and leads.to a mighty organ point on the dominant.
The chorale, with a relatively simple movement, forms the final point of this piece.
All this on the "small" organ Strassburg, a very nice sample set by Piotr Grabowski. Of course I did not miss the opportunity to turn on and off the motor for air supply at the beginning and the end.
