Liedsatz und Trio "Die Hussiten vor Naumburg"

From the "Allgemeines Deutsches Kommersbuch" comes this beautiful song, written by Karl Seyferth in 1832.
It has a beautiful, simple melody, which I have underlaid with a continuous eighth note movement in the bass voice, which certainly cannot be reproduced so easily on the pedal. Therefore this piece could also be used as a pedal exercise ;-)
The piece consists of two verses, a short trio and a 3rd verse at the end.
We hear the beautiful organ Giubiasco with a thin disposition, which I think is appropriate for the calm character of the melody.
