Flor Peeters (1903 - 1986)
was a Belgian composer and organist. He was professor in Antwerp and Organist at Mechelen Cathedral.
The Variations and Finale on an old Flemish song, 1929 was the first of Peeters' big concert works.
The work is in some respects a tribute tu Marcel Dupre, to whom it is dedicated.
