It Came Upon A Midnight Clear

Words by the American Edmund Sears and tune called Noel by Englishman Arthur Sullivan from an old English melody.

I had real troubles in this one with a sticking Bb pedal which is most obvious at the start of the third verse but it doesn't detract too much so I decided to save my back another recording session.

As I was playing this it occurred to me that this carol was one of the first pieces I ever recorded when I discovered Hauptwerk way back in 2006. I uploaded it somewhere on the web with a few other pieces, I'd love to find it one day.
