Description:	Giulio Tonelli (1908-1987) studied counterpoint, organ, choral music and conducting at Conservatory in Parma (Italy). He was director of the Conservatory in Brescia and wrote mainly compositions for organ and choir. His enchanting pastoral fantasy was created in December 1981 for son Paolo. The introverted tenor melody of the minor middle section (viola) is framed by an idyllic-pensive aria part, which is pastoral-like underlined by continuous bass notes.
