Solo di Gamba unter der Wandlung Uploaded by: palsorgel Composer: P. Theodor Grünberger (1756- 1820) Organ: Mascioni, Giubiasco (2008) Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 125
This piece I have seen and heard very often on our platform, the recordings have all sounded very good. Since the composition is very beautiful and Christmas is just around the corner, I have now also recorded it.
You can hear the beautiful Giubiasco organ, which is very suitable for this prelude. A major also fits the timbre very well.
I put the cantus firmus in 2 octaves on the Hauptwerk with the 8" and 4" flute, the middle voices are on the Brustwerk, there the third/quint mixtures are additionally drawn, which makes the overall sound seem even more radiant. In the pedal we hear only the Subbass 16" and the coupled voices of the Brustwerk.
