| Description: | Erik-Jan van der Hel (* 1967) studied organ, harpsichord and church music in Amsterdam
and Utrecht. He is organist of the Immanuelkirche in Ermelo (NL).
The festive, monumental chorale fantasy for five voices (organo pleno), composed in December 2020, is written in old style and presents the melody in long notes (cantus planus) on the pedal part. This impressive and artfull piece is a valuable contribution to the organ christmas literature.
The score is for free download, as many others: https://imslp.org/wiki/Lobt_Gott,_ihr_Christen_alle_gleich,_IEV_20_(Van_der_Hel,_Erik-Jan)
