Friedrich Wilhelm Zachow or Zachau (1663, Leipzig-1712, Halle) was a German composer of vocal and keyboard music. The first teacher of Georg Friedrich Händel.

His music is very interesting, a mix of Northern- and Southern-German baroque. Some pieces are similar to Pachelbel, others do remind us of Buxtehude.
The sheet music is in the attachments (thanks to Pierre Gouin for his many nice editions of Zachow's keyboard works).
