Italian composer and organist Davide De Zotti (b. 1983) was born near Venice and studied organ, piano, harpsichord, composition, performance practice, and conducting in Castelfranco Veneto, Treviso, Paris, Salzburg, and Zürich. After completing high school, he came to the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. Among his most important teachers were Andrea Marcon, Hannfried Lucke, Ton Koopman, Daniel Chorzempa, Jean Guillou, Pierre Pincemaille, Reinhard Goebel, Filippo Perocco, Alexander Müllenbach, Ernst Ludwig Leitner, Hiroko Miki, und Markus Utz. In 2016, he became organist and church music director at the Evangelical-Reformed Church in Rapperswil-Jona (Switzerland) and is also the organ teacher at the School of Church Music in St. Gallen.
