Description: | Today the cast was removed from my wrist. And the X-ray showed that it has healed sufficiently, so no new cast was needed. Luckily.
After three weeks the wrist is quite stiff and hurts more than I had expected. And the joint with the thumb is stiff and painful as well. Nevertheless, I wanted to try and playing something with two hands again. Nothing fancy, nothing spectacular, nothing virtuosic, just some playing with both hands.
As a tongue in cheek reference to my own poignant and shrill version ( https://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/45192), I choose one of Bach's preludes on the melody of "Wer nur den lieben Gott lässt walten".
The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Sonus Paradisi, of the Schnittger organ in the St. Martini-kerk, Groningen ( https://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/organs/netherlands/groningen-st-martini.html). |
