Another collaborative project with Agnus_Dei, "Twelve Short Preludes," composed by Arthur William Marchant.

He was born in London in 1850, and died in Stirling in 1921. He was organist in London of Streatham Parish Church in 1875 and then St. Lukeís in Kentish Town. He gained the FRCO in 1878 and graduated with a B. Mus. from New College, Oxford, in 1879. He was appointed to the St. John's Cathedral in Denver, Colorado, USA in 1880. Two years later he returned to the UK serving at the parish church in Sevenoaks, All Saintsí in Huntingdon, St. Johnís in Dumfries and finally at Holy Trinity in Stirling, Scotland from 1901 until his death. He composed many songs, piano pieces and anthems.

He composed a large number of organ works, as well as some larger ones as well. Many of the small works are grouped into collections which often included multiple volumes.

The "Twelve Short Preludes" date from 1912, and were published by the Oliver Ditson Company, Boston, USA. The score is attached below.
