D. B. Wilkinson (b. 1993) — Prière, op. 28, no. 3 (2013) for organ
Daniel “D. B.” Wilkinson (b. 1993) was born in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. Introduced to the organ in school, he began taking lessons, playing his first concert at age 12. He studied organ at Dauntsey’s School and the Lyme Regis Organ School. His teachers included Richard Godfrey, Anne Marsden-Thomas, and Philip Scriven. His interest in composing grew out of his organ studies and has led to a number of works in various genres, including symphonic, choral, and chamber music.
