In my edition this chorale is titled as 'Wie soll ich Dich empfangen', but it is also known as O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden/Ach Herr mich armen Sünder/Herzlich tut mich verlangen ... and Lass mich dein sein und bleiben.
Because of several previous performances on the CBCH I decided to use this title, so you can easily find other interpretations.
Yolar wrote about the composer: 'Delphin Strungk (or Strunck) was a German composer and organist associated with the North German school. Only three works for keyboard (organ included) have survived. This is one of them.'
Delphin Strungk lived from 1601 – 1694.
Played on the Hoofdwerk and Rugwerk (coupled) Principals (c.f.), accompanied by soft 8' Flutes/Quintadena of the Bovenwerk and the Pedal of the Hinsz organ at Bovenkerk, Kampen.
