Kaj-Erik Gustafsson (b. 1942) — Introduzione e Chorale (2017) for organ

“Introduzione e Chorale” (2017) is based on the Finnish hymn “Jo vääryys vallan saapi” (#440 in the 1938 edition of the hymn book of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.)

Finnish composer and organist Kaj-Erik Gustafsson (b. 1942) studied at the Sibelius Academy and has served as organist and cantor at a number of churches throughout Finland. Gustafsson has also been artistic director for several festivals and taught at the Klemetti Institute.
