Organist, composer, and improviser Wm. Glenn Osborne (b. 1972) was educated at Westminster Choir College and the University of Notre Dame. He furthered his studies in France, living in Aix-en Provence and Lyon. Osborne has concertized in the USA, Italy, France, Switzerland, Spain, and Greece and placed in several national and international competitions. In 2015, he was appointed Director of Music for the Cathedral and Archdiocesan Liturgies at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore, Maryland. Previous positions include Director of Music at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (Kissimmee, Florida), Director of Liturgical Music for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orlando, Florida, and Director of Music at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany, New York. In addition to compositions in many forms, Osborne has a particular interest in organ improvisation and has published numerous articles and educational resources on the subject. |
