Nigel Williams (b. 1953) is a New Zealand based composer, organist, and conductor who began his musical education as a chorister at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Auckland. He graduated from the University of Auckland and began a nearly 30-year career as a music teacher at schools in New Zealand and London. Williams has also held directorial positions with several choirs and churches in New Zealand including the Tauranga Civic Choir and the Bach Choir of Wellington. As a composer, Williams has written and published numerous choral and organ works.
